Please accept my sincere condolences. God knows the pain that comes when we lose a loved one. That is why God describes death as his last enemy that he is yearning to do away with (1 Corinthians 15:26). Our dear loved ones who are resting in death will soon be awakened and reunited with us (Isaiah 26:19). Hold on firmly to this beautiful hope, and may the wonderful memories fill your mind and heart.

Mike, you were such an incredible man with such a big heart. You always found a way to help everyone around you in whatever way you could. You would have the best ideas, you were so resourceful, intellegent, and all knowing! It seemed like you knew how to do everything but, you just didn't know how to help yourself. I will always love you and I want you to know that I will always be here to take care of Beth, Samantha, and Katie and I will make sure they have a wonderful life to honor you. Love you, Dawn

I met Mike at East Cobb Middle School in Marietta. Mike was always kind to me, in middle school I was so quiet and shy that I didn't really talk to anyone. I will always remember Mike's kindness to me. My condolences to his family and friends.

Mike was an amazing friend over the past 30+ years. He introduced me to his fraternity brother and roommate in 1996... we married and divorced, but most importantly I got the best gift ever - my daughter. I have fabulous memories of all of us through those early years of marriage/kids! Thanks, Mike, for always being there and for being an amazing friend through the years. You will be missed, my dear friend. Deepest sympathies to the Fletcher family.

I was one of his college professors and today hit me hard. I can’t imagine what it is to you. I really liked him and loved our after class discussions and email exchanges. Often about shooting. We were to have gone to the range and had a beer or three after. Darn it. I wanted to hear his stories. And he liked mine. Comparing notes about pistols and m1 garand rifles....he spoke my language. I wanted more because he was a fantastic guy. I’m appreciative that I got to know him and my world is less as he is not in it. God, cannot imagine how you must feel. He loved you and his family. Ah! The twinkle in his eye when he spoke of that. I’m crying. I don’t cry. If there is anything I can do, don’t hesitate. Please

Although our paths have not crossed for many years, I remember well the mannerly, kind young man who visited our home on many occasions. Mike was such a vibrant outstanding personality of the many young college friends of our daughter.
It is with great sadness that we learned of Mike’s death. Our thoughts and prayers go with his family during this time. May God hold you close and give you comfort through his love.

Mike, I was devastated to hear of your passing and only wish the years had not flown by so quickly before reconnecting. I want you to know that you were one of my dearest friends during our time at PC. I remember meeting you the first week of our freshman year. You always had a smile on your face, an open heart to everyone and the greatest bear hugs. We shared many wonderful times with our PIKE and ADPi friends to include watching football games/horse races, events at the PIKE house, rafting down the Chattahoochee, get togethers at your Mom and Dad’s and pool parties at my home in Atlanta. You will forever be missed. Rest In Peace, my friend. Until we meet again ❤️

The McHugh Family is devastated to hear this news. Mike was our second cousin. When his parents were still living in Richmond I would look forward to visiting his grandparents Helen and Harold just to be able to see him. The sweetest little child. Sadly the last time we saw Mike was at his grandfather‘s funeral. He talked about getting the remaining family together for a family reunion. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mike, Sandi, Samantha and Katie.
