Clarence Edward "Ed" Bowen age 61 of Winder, GA died Monday, January 3, 2005. A funeral service was held Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at 3:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. A.J. Mullinax officiated. A Masonic Graveside Service followed at Duncan Creek Church Cemetery. The family received friends on Tuesday, January 4, 2005 from 12:00 Noon until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
Surviving are: Wife, Dianne Bowen, Winder. Daughter and Son In-law, Thomasina and William Rosbury, Buford. 9 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. Sister, Grace Plunket, Atlanta. Several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Mr. Bowen was a life long resident of the area and a US Army Veteran. He was a member of the Gwinnett Shrine Club, Yarab Shrine in Atlanta and the Buford Masonic Lodge 292 F&AM. Mr. Bowen was employed with Expert Tire Co. and of the Baptist Faith.
