Obituary of Jaye Lynn Wallace

Jaye Lynn Wallace, age 38 of Buford died Monday, November 29, 2004 after an extended illness. Funeral service was held Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at 2:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. G. Stephen Wood officiated. Interment followed in Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens, Buford. The Family received friends on Tuesday, November 30, 2004 from 2-4 and 6-9 PM at the funeral home. Jaye was preceded in death by her Father, Jerry Parker. She is survived by Husband, John Wallace, Buford and Daughter, Taylor Wallace, Buford. Mother and Father, Brenda and Don Griffis, Braselton; Brother, Joshua Parker, Kennesaw; Grandmother, Bertha Miller, Duluth; Grandparents, Melvin and Louise Griffis, Decatur; Aunt and Uncle, Shirley and Charles Wilder, Lawrenceville; Father In-law and Mother In-law, Cecil and Evelyn Wallace, Buford; Sister In-law and Brother In-law, Vicky and Howard Ivey, Chestnut Mountain; Brothers In-law and Sisters In-law, Jimmy and Becky Wallace, Buford, Kenneth and Allison Wallace, Buford. Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Jaye was a loving wife and mother and a life long resident of the area. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Buford where she formerly taught in the church preschool and Mission Friends program.
