Obituary of Mary Lou Lawson

Mary Lou Lawson, age 78 of Lawrenceville, GA, died Saturday, November 6, 2004 after an extended illness. A funeral service was held on Monday, November 8, 2004 at 1:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dwayne Ryals officiated. Interment followed in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens, Cumming, GA. The Family received friends on Sunday, November 7, 2004 from 1 - 3 and 6 - 8 PM at the funeral home. Flowers were accepted or contributions were made to Life Care of Lawrenceville, 210 Collins Industrial Way, Lawrenceville, GA 30045. Mrs. Lawson is survived by: Sons and Daughters In-law, John Wayne and Brenda Lawson, Dacula, Ron and Donna Lawson, Lula; Grandchildren, Jennifer and Robert Benca, Snellville, Christina and Noah Ryan, Dacula, Kenny and Sondra Thompson, Lula, Dina Thompson and Jason Thompson, Lula; 9 Great Grandchildren; Sisters, Grace Ivey, Commerce, Dot Adams, FL, Jimmie Wortham, Lawrenceville; Sisters and Brothers In-law, Linda and Bert Heaton, Bethlehem, Tina and Howard Gordon, Macon; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Mrs. Lawson was a native of Jackson County and lived in the area all of her life. She was a homemaker, a member of Unity Church, Mayesville, and attended Whitehall Baptist Church, Lula, GA.
