Steven J. Ryan, age 48 of Dacula, GA died on Tuesday, September 7, 2004 after a brief illness. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 11, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Gerry Davis officiated. Interment followed in Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The Family received friends on Friday, September 10, 2004 from 6 till 9 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the requested donations be made to the Emily Ryan Trust Account, c/o Lanier Community Bank, 4356 South Lee Street, Buford, GA 30518, 770-945-6120. Surviving are: Wife, Susie Ryan, Dacula; Daughter, Emily Ryan, Dacula; Father, Don Ryan, Minnetonka, MN; Mother, Bev Ryan, Mendota Heights, MN; Brother, Kevin Ryan, Eagan, MN; Sisters, Colleen Ekstrom, Andover, MN and Kathy Mayer, Eden Prairie, MN, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Ryan was a loving husband and father. He was a native of Minnesota and lived in the area the past 12 years. He was the owner of Stamping Equipment Sales Co., Inc. and attended the First United Methodist Church, Buford.
