Muriel Etter Wood Harris, of Buford, Georgia, age 84, passed away on June 22, 2004. Born in Alberene, Virginia, she was preceded in death by her husband Wallace Wilson "Bill" Harris. She is survived by her sons, Wallace Wood "Butch", Steven Dale, Stewart Gray, and a daughter, Cynthia Ann Harris and Bobby Hoog, a daughter-in-law, Peggy Harris and 2 grandchildren, Michael David Stream and Logan David Harris, one brother, C.J. Wood and wife, Fani Lee of Waynesboro, Virginia, one sister in law, Katherine Wood of Sterling, Virginia, and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was conducted at 2 p.m., Friday at the Alberene Baptist Church with Reverend Jeff Cale officiating. Interment followed in Alberene Cemetery.The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Teague Funeral Home, Charlottesville, Virginia.
