Obituary of Mary Edith Wyckoff

Mrs. Mary Edith Wyckoff, age 89, widow of the late Harry E. Wyckoff, Sr. of Buford, died Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at Peachtree Christian Hospice. A funeral service was held Thursday, June 10, 2004 at 2:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. McHoyt Moore officiated. Burial followed in Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford. Grandsons served as pallbearers. A native of Hornellsville, NY, Mrs. Wyckoff was the daughter of the late Dorr and Theresa Derby Cone, she was a homemaker, a devoted Christian and a member of the Old Suwanee Baptist Church. For many years she was a member and very active in the Buford Senior citizens center, and was a member of the Red Hat Society of Buford. She was preceded in death by a son Rev. Harry E. Wyckoff, Jr. and a grandson Duane Wyckoff, Jr. and is survived by her children, Joyce Bombleyn of Lawrenceville, Brenda Oakley of Buford, Duane and Dorothy Wyckoff, Sr. of Snellville, Rev. Lynton and Fay Wyckoff of Wasilla, AK. 16 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, 4 great, great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The Wyckoff family received friends on Wednesday, June 9, 2004 from 2-4 and 6-9 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel in Buford.
