Obituary of Clifton Arnold Sparrow

Clifton Arnold Sparrow, III age 52 of Gainesville, died Tuesday, April 6, 2004. A Memorial Service was held Thursday, April 8, 2004 at 7:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. The Family received friends from 5:00 PM until time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requested memorial contributions be made to the American Lung Association, 2452 Spring Road, SE, Smyrna, GA 30080. Mr. Sparrow was preceded in death by his Father, Clifton Arnold Sparrow, II and Brother, Curtis Lee Merritt. Surviving are: Wife, Deborah Sparrow, Gainesville; Son and Daughter In-law, Stacy and Dawn Sparrow, MD; Daughter and Son In-law, Sherry and Derek Millwood, Homer; Grandchildren, Justin, Zach, and Zane Millwood; Mother and Stepfather, Shirley and Don Merritt, VA; Stepmother, Catherine Grant, VA; Stepbrothers and Sisters, Karen Windsor, VA, Bobby Merritt, MD, Wayne Merritt and Steve Merritt, VA; Several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews. Mr. Sparrow was a native of Virginia and had lived in the area for the past 25 years. He was a veteran of the US Army National Guard and had worked in security at Riverside Military Academy and was the leader of the Corner Stone Band of Gainesville.
