Obituary of Verna Bailey Rolin

Mrs. Verna Bailey Rolin, age 77 of Buford, died Tuesday, January 6, 2004 after an extended illness. A Funeral service was held Thursday, January 8, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Charles Pirkle and Rev. G. Stephen Wood officiated. Interment followed in Sugar Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends Wednesday, January 7, 2004 from 5:00- 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Mrs. Rolin was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Rolin and parents, Harvey and Ollie Bailey. Surviving are: Son and Daughter In-law, Stanley and Linda Rolin, Buford; Daughters and Sons In-law, Deborah and Ronnie Phillips, Buford, Sandra and Roger Everett, Buford; Grandchildren, Stacy Rolin, Lisa Gilleland, Jodi Pendley, Mark Rolin; 11 Great Grandchildren; Sister and Brother In-law, Vera Mae and Elton Bailey, Buford; Sister, Hazel Chesser, Buford; Brothers and Sisters In-law, J.W. and Nell Bailey, Buford, Larry and Doris Bailey, Cleveland; Brother In-law and Sister In-law, Byron and Peggy Rolin, Smyrna. Special care taker, Kathy Egerton, Cleveland. Mrs. Rolin lived in the area most of her life and was a member of Sugar Hill Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife and mother.
