Obituary of Fred Taft Hyatt

Mr. Fred Taft Hyatt, age 91, of Buford, died June 24, 2000. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Sosebee Hyatt, and sons, James Edward Hyatt and Charles Allen Hyatt. He is survived by Sons, Richard F. (Dick) Hyatt of Griffin, Pete Hyatt of Gainesville, Joe Hyatt of Buford, Ted "Hoppy" Hyatt of Stone Mountain: Daughters, Dorothy H. Dot Collier of Morrow, June Chandler of Fayetteville, Carolyn Woods of Niles, Michigan: step-daughter, Mary Ann Ingle of Warner Robbins. Nineteen Grandchildren and Twenty-Eight Great Grandchildren: Sister, Helen Burcham of Lithia Springs: Brother, Elmer P. Hyatt of Gainesville: Several Nieces and Nephews also survive. Mr. Hyatt resided in the area for the past fifty years and was the owner of Hyatt Auto Supply in Gainesville. Funeral Services were held on Monday, June 26, 2000, at 2:00PM in the Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Reverend J.W. Sosebee officiated and the burial followed at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Duluth, GA. Visitation was held Sunday Evening, June 25 from 6-9 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel.
