James Robert Orrie, age 55 of Buford, Georgia died Thursday, November 20, 2003 after an extended illness. A Funeral Service was held Sunday, November 23, 2003 at 2:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Fred Hartley officiated. Interment followed in Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The Family received friends on Saturday, November 22, 2003 from 2-4 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions were made to the American Cancer Society, 2200 Lake Blvd. Atlanta, Georgia 30319. Surviving are: Wife, Sharon Orrie, Buford; Sister, Louise Geiger, Buford; Sister and Brother In-law, Emily and Larry Maday, Penn Valley, CA; Brother and Sister In-law, Raymond and Joyce Orrie, Roswell; Mother In-law, Olive Leavelle, Tucker. Several Nieces and Nephews. Mr. Orrie was a life long resident of the area, a graduate of Georgia State University, employed with Saturn of Decatur and a member of Lilburn Alliance Church.
