Obituary of Jack Gordon Falin

Jack Gordon Falin, age 79 of Dacula, GA, died suddenly on Monday, November 17, 2003. Graveside service was held Thursday, November 20, 2003 at 1:00 PM at Lynnhurst Cemetery in Knoxville, TN. The Family received friends on Wednesday, November 19, 2003 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Mynatt Funeral Home in Knoxville, TN. In lieu of flowers the family requested donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, 3 Corporate Square, Atlanta, GA 30329. Mr. Falin is survived by his wife, Marilyn Falin, Dacula, GA; Daughter and Son In-law, Laura and Mike Denney, Duluth, GA; Brother, Robert Falin, Knoxville, TN; Special Friend, Susan Artman, Duluth, GA; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Mr. Falin was a native of Knoxville, TN and had lived in the area the past 4 years. He was retired from Safeco Insurance, a member of Island Home Baptist Church, Knoxville, TN and was a US Navy Veteran of W.W.II. Mr. Falin was also active in the Masons, Elk Club, Lions Club, Scottish Rite and the Knoxville JC's and was an avid golfer.
