Obituary of Robert K. Axelberg

Robert Axelberg, age 76 of Dacula, GA died suddenly Thursday, November 13, 2003. A Funeral Service was held Sunday, November 16, 2003 at 3:00 P.M. at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Mac Palmer officiated. The family received friends, Sunday, November 16, 2003 from 1:00 P.M. until time of service, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requested donations be made to Boy Scouts of America or to the American Heart Association. Mr. Axelberg was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Axelberg. Surviving are wife, Alma Jean Axelberg, Dacula; Son and Daughter In-law, Robert K. And Terri S. Axelberg, Jr., Fishers, IN; Son, Daniel S. Axelberg, Lake Worth, FL; Daughter and Son In-law, Jane Ann and Bob Myers, Dacula; Grandchildren, Brooke R. Axelberg, Travis K. Axelberg, Danielle J. Axelberg, Evan L. Myers, David R. Myers; Brother, James R. Axelberg, Lakeville, IN. Mr. Axelberg was a native of Indiana and had lived in the area the past 7 years. He was a graduate of Franklin College, Franklin, IN, a US Army Veteran of W.W.II, lifetime member of Elks Lodge, very active with Boy Scout of America/Eagle Scouts, retired owner of a metal fabrication company, and a member of Hebron Baptist Church.
