Obituary of Ted E. Gillinger

Theodore E. "Ted" Gillinger, age 67 of Buford, died Sunday, August 31, 2003 after an extended illness. A Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, September 3, 2003 at 10:00 A.M. at Epiphany Byzantine Catholic Church, Roswell. Father Dr. Phillip Scott officiated. Interment will followed in Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens, Buford. The family received friends on Tuesday, September 2, 2003 from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service at 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Flowers were accepted or Memorial contributions may be made to the Epiphany Byzantine Catholic Church, Roswell or to the American Cancer Society. Mr. Gillinger was preceded in death by his Parents, Earl and Helen Gillinger; Step Mother, Cathy Gillinger; Son, Ted J. Gillinger; Sisters, Dolores Speacht, Nancy Pugh, Janice Paletsky. Surviving are: Wife, Helen Gillinger, Buford; Daughters, Susan Klicka, PA, Sandra Priest, VA; 5 Grandchildren; Sister In-law, Greta Stecker, Dacula; Special Niece, Donna Smith, Lawrenceville; 5 Nieces and Nephews, 6 Grand Nieces and Nephews. Mr. Gillinger was a native of Pennsylvania and had lived in the area since 1989. He was employed by Georgia Metal Coatings and of the Catholic Faith. Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel.
