Filip Nicoara, age 73 of Dacula, GA died Monday, July 14, 2003 after an extended illness. A funeral service was held Saturday, July 19, 2003 at 2:30 P.M. at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Teofil Cocian and Rev. Cristian Cocian officiated. Interment followed in Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The family received friends on Thursday, July 17 at 7:30 P.M. and on Friday, July 18 at 7:30 P.M. at the funeral home. Mr. Nicoara is survived by his wife, Ana Nicoara, Dacula; Sons, Gabriel Nicoara, Lawrenceville, Dorian Nicoara, Norcross, Mihai Nicoara, Dacula, Ovidiu Nicoara, Norcross; Daughter, Lucia Harasemiuc, Dacula; 9 Grandchildren; Sisters, Viorica Belei and Stefania Veres, Romania; Brothers, Saul Nicoara, Romania, Iacob Nicoara, California. Mr. Nicoara was a native of Romania and lived in the area since 1985. He was employed by Flexible Metalhose and a member of First Romanian Baptist Church of Atlanta.
