Obituary of Hwan B. Hwang

Hwan B. "Freddie" Hwang, age 69 of Duluth, died Monday, October 6, 2003 after an extended illness. A funeral service was held on Friday, October 10, 2003 at 10:00 A.M. at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Lee officiated. Interment followed in Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The Family received friends on Wednesday, October 8, 2003 from 3 -7 P.M. and on Thursday, October 9, 2003 from 1 - 7 P.M. at the funeral home.
Mr. Hwang is survived by his wife, Susan Hwang, Duluth; Son and Daughter In-law, Shin and Jenny Hwang, Duluth; Son, Jin Hwang, Duluth; Grandchildren, Eric, Candy and Paul.
Mr. Hwang was a native of Korea and had lived in the area the past 30 years. He was self-employed in the retail industry and a member of the Korean Seventh Day Adventist Church.
