I'm so sorry that you lost a loved one to death!! I've lost many dear ones in the past because of the enemy death, and I wanted to share some comforting scriptures with you from God's word the Bible that comforted me during my time of grief. Psalms 34:19 states that God is close to the broken hearted and those crushed in spirit he saves. God truly cares for you!! Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you. On your spare time please look up Revelation 21:3,4. It offers a tremendous amount of comfort for those who have lost ones to death. I hope this has brought some comfort to you as it did to me.

A Great Friend....
Mitchell, you will be sorely missed by myself and many other members of the online sports community. Thank you for always taking the time to talk to me and calling me on the phone in your busy days.

I wanted to reach out to you during this sad time to offer my condolences. While nothing will completely take away your grief, by meditating on God's promises found in the Bible, you can find real hope and the strength to keep going. I have found the scripture at Isaiah 25:8 to be especially comforting. Here it promises that God "will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces."

Like everyone else I was totally shocked by the news of Mitch's passing. To his family I want to express my deepest sympathy and hope that you can take comfort in having shared the fullness of his life.
My first encounter with Mitch took place some twenty-five years ago when he purchased a truck from me at a local dealership. That was the beginning of a relationship that would last for the next two decades and literally dozens of vehicles sold to him, his business, his family and employees. During that period I would come to gain much insight into the man himself, his style, and the depths of his character--and ever increasing admiration along the way.
I would know him to be intensely focused, passionate yet compassionate, a hard-working owner of a successful business, and the patriarch of a beautiful family--certainly his proudest achievement.

So very sorry to hear of the passing of Mitch. His family was a part of my childhood memories while living in St. Louis. Our dad's worked together at Cargill for many years and we lived just a street a part. My sister, Becky (now deceased) and I would get visits from Mike and Mitch. Their mother Gerri is my Confirmation sponsor. I still have the red crystal rosary with the black velvet case that they all helped make for me. Mom and dad always enjoyed Gerri and Wally's friendship.
It is wonderful to hear that God blessed Mitch with a good and loving family...as so was I.
