Obituary of Michael Horace Owens

Michael H. Owens, age 57 of Suwanee, GA died Sunday, February 12, 2017. Mr. Owens has been cremated. A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 2:00 PM at 12Stone Church - Hamilton Mill, 3858 Braselton Highway, Buford, GA 30519. Mr. Matt Williams will officiate. A second service will be held Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Boiling Springs First Baptist Church, 3600 Boiling Springs Road, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. Mike was preceded in death by his sister, Vickie Kirby. He is survived by his parents, Marshall and Virginia Owens, Boiling Springs, SC; brothers, Rick Owens and wife Michelle, Boiling Springs, SC, Barry Owens, Greenville, SC. Mike was born in Boiling Springs, SC and had lived in the Atlanta area the past 30 years. He was a teacher and coach at several area schools and most recently in the Fulton County School System.
