Obituary of Lois Annette Henderson

Annette Roberson Henderson, age 88 of Buford, GA, died Saturday, April 8, 2017 after an extended illness. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Lamar Hansard and Rev. Danny Smith will officiate. Interment will follow at Gravel Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 10, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Annette was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Dave Henderson and son Jerrell Henderson, her parents Wilkes Roberson and Beulah Mason Brown. She is survived by her children, Donald and Sheila Henderson, Winder, Harold and Joyce Henderson, Carnesville, Myra and Cooter Jackson, Buford, Jeff and Angela Henderson, Buford. Grandchildren, Kelly Henderson, Tia Lancaster and husband Creighton, Chrissy Williamson and husband, Tony, Lauren Henderson, Connie Mireles, Dee Dee Henderson, Jason Jackson and wife Crystal, Cameron Henderson and wife, Lauren. Great Grandchildren, Cole Henderson, Tori Alviarez, Jaden Henderson, Chad Henderson, Ali Lancaster, Carter Lancaster, Charlee Kinsey, Brady Jackson, Ava Jackson, Jackson Williamson, Sydney Williamson, Holden Henderson, Braxton Henderson. Annette was born in Atlanta, GA and was a lifelong resident of the area. She was retired from Lovable, Buford, GA and had worked at the Bona Allen Tannery, Lawrenceville Shoe and drove a school bus for Gwinnett County Schools. She was a member of Buford Church of God. Annette loved gardening and putting up vegetables and enjoyed loving on her cats, Tinker Bell and Tiger. She had a great sense of humor and wit and loved her family and never failed to tell them.
