My deepest condolences for the loss of your dear loved one. While nothing will completely take away your grief by meditating on Gods promises found in the Bible you can find real hope and the strength to keep going. My family and I have found the scripture at Isaiah 25:8 to be especially comforting. Here it promises that God "will swallow up death forever and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces."

Elizabeth was in my kindergarten class at Fort Daniel. What a beautiful little girl with those big beautiful eyes! I was privileged to be her "friend" on Facebook for the last few years and see glimpses of what a lovely young woman she had become. I am so sad to learn of her passing. Elizabeth was one of my very first friends. Her birthday party when we were 5 or 6 was one of the first memories of a party I have. She was kind, sensitive, vividly intelligent and we shared an old soul in our youth. Time passed and life had different paths in mind, but our time as friends was sweet, whole and innocent unaffected by the unfair waves of the world. She will be missed by all she knew, I am sure of that. So sorry for your loss, I can't imagine the heartbreak.
