Brett was one of those people who could never be replaced. I treasure my memories of him, and most of all, his continual encouragement. He was always ready with his box of tissues when I needed a shoulder to cry on and a friend to lean on. I know he is living without pain in heaven now. Keely, your sweet husband was one of my closest friends, a very long time ago. We lived a few doors apart and, he was sunshine for a broken-hearted me. At Auburn, in the Kappa Sig house, Brett was on the phone ordering a sandwich with a choice of sauce. Halfway thru, they ask his name.
Now remember, we are only hear his half of the conversation. What we heard was...
"I'll order the sub, my name is...meat sauce. "
Us, "Your name is MEAT SAUCE?"
