Dominick T. DiPietro, age 91 of Buford, GA died Saturday, December 23, 2017. Mr. DiPietro has been cremated and a memorial service will be held Friday, December 29, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Gwinnett Church, 300 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, Sugar Hill, GA. Fellowship with the Family will begin at 12:30 PM at the Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests, donations to Disabled American Veterans (www.dav.org) or Wounded Warrior Foundation (https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/donate). Mr. DiPietro was preceded in death by his parents, Katie DiPietro, Angie Raymond, Ida Franzen, and Peter DiPietro. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary DiPietro, Buford; daughter, Janet DiPietro, Buford; son Donald DiPietro, Flowery Branch; grandchildren, Madi DiPietro and Ashton DiPietro; sister Toni Judson, Ocala, FL. Mr. DiPietro was born in White Plains, NY and lived most of his life in southern Florida, including Miami Springs and Delray Beach before moving to the Buford area 5 years ago to be near his family. He was a US Navy Veteran of WWII where he proudly served as a navigator on the LST 697. He was self-employed as a Realtor and was of the Catholic Faith.
