Diddy, I already miss you like crazy!! The outpouring of condolences, calls, cards, visits, food, flowers, comments, post, etc... has just been amazing! Your service was perfect! I know you would be so proud! Still trying to take it all in & just breathe but none of us were ready to give you up! I will miss you every hour of every day! I've wanted to pick up the phone & call you a hundred times already!! I find peace & comfort in knowing you are in the presence of Jesus our Savior! And this separation is only temporary! I will see you again soon Diddy! I love you forever!

I am so sorry for the loss of David. He has been a wonderful, precious friend of mine for a long, long time. I haven't gotten to see him in probably 30 years or longer but I always thought about him and remembered him. We had so many fun, great times together while we went to school together and after we graduated and we both got married. He used to come see me and John when we were married and we enjoyed having him with us so much. He is in heaven now with John, his Mom and Dad, and all of his loved ones. My prayers and thoughts are with all of the family and I pray God will give you all comfort and peace through these sad times. I am very sick and won't be able to come see him and I have to go to St. Joseph to my ENT tomorrow but you all are in my prayers. Love to you all. Pat Gridley (Huff)

I was saddened by the news of David's passing, but as I read his obituary and learned that he was saved, a Child of God, and a member of the "Household of Faith" I was so pleased. I wish all my friends and family could have such a profession of faith. I remember that David was so full of life and lived life to the fullest, sometimes on the cutting edge. I remember he wrecked his new Ford GT near Harbins and was nearly killed. He wore a leg cast for a long time but recovered and never slowed up. He was a good friend and I will always remember him as a guy full of life who always had a big smile and was excited about life. My condolences to his family and friends. God bless his memory.

I will sure miss David's visits to Lyle's office. He was full of entertaining stories and we always had to share pictures of our kids and his grand kids. He's been such a joy to know all these years. He was so proud of his family and I know he will be immensely missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time.

Damn good man gone way too soon!!! I have been coaching his grandaughter Alyssa Logston, AKA LuLu, for 4 or 5 years. His daughter, Shelly Logston, has been my right hand woman, assistant, team Mom, organizer, glue that holds it all together, etc for all of those years. I consider this family apart of my own. Going to miss my buddy Peepaw at the softball field!!! He always sat right outside the fence where he could talk to me while I am on the bucket calling pitches. As a coach it's your job to motivate and coach up the girls...Peepaw coached me up as a coach. He reminded me alot of my Dad and even got me in trouble a few times letting the umpires have it!! He was always there, win or lose, to pat me on the back and say "Good game Coach". Prayers for Shelly, Shannon, and the entire family!!The Dirty South Outlaw Family will miss you Peepaw!!! #YEEEYEEE #PEEPAWSTRONG

I loved David and he truly was like a father to me. He loved his children and grandchildren and would spend the entire day bragging on each and every one of them. I shall miss listening to his stories and I am very thankful for his friendship and all the advice he provided. Rest In Peace my friend and I have the family in my prayers. LKP
