Obituary of Juanita Lucy Hand

Juanita Johnson Hand, age 87 died Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Ivy Springs Manor in Buford. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Good Tidings Church in Jonesboro, GA. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 11, 2015 from 7- 8:30 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Mrs. Hand was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford H. Hand. She is survived by her brothers, Charles Johnson, Fayetteville, GA and James Coats, Jacksonville, FL. Children, Linda Johnson and husband Dean, Greer, SC, Brenda Green, Morganton, GA, Pam Williams and husband, David, Suwanee, GA, Chris Hand and wife, Sheri, Locust Groove, GA. 8 grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren. Mrs. Hand was born in New Orleans, LA and had lived in the Atlanta area the past 63 years. She was a homemaker in the true sense of the word and a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God in Jonesboro.
