Obituary of Fred Alvin Richardson

Fred Alvin Richardson, age 98 of Buckhead, GA, died Monday, April 23, 2018. A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Buford, GA. Rev. Darwin Caldwell will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Fred was preceded in death by his wife, Vera Breedlove Richardson, and his daughter, Sheila Richardson Worthan. He is survived by his daughter, Trenia Phillips (Terry), Gainesville; grandchildren, Jeremy Worthan, Becky Gowens (Jamie), Ashley Heartt (Ryan), Ric Worthan (Kiani), Allison O’Brien (Evan), Andrea Pharris, Brandie Tanner (Neil); 13 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Fred was born in Cedartown, GA and was a lifelong resident of the metro Atlanta area. He was a Veteran of the US Air Force, served in WWII and a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church, Buford.
