Obituary of Betty Jane Westbrook

Betty Jane Westbrook of Hoschton, Georgia went to be with her Lord on May 11th, 2018. Betty was born in Atlanta, Georgia on July 8, 1930 and grew up in Tucker, Georgia. She married her high school sweetheart, Robert Gaddis Westbrook on July 9, 1948. Betty leaves behind two sons, Scott and Charles Westbrook, their wives Vickie and Tinina, three grandchildren (Krista, Chris and his wife Allison, and Anna), two great grandchildren (Adelyn and Jeremiah), her brother Dan Clark and nieces and nephews, Melanie, Dana Lynn, Kevin, Kathy and Howard Jr. Betty was a stay at home mom until her sons were old enough to be left alone. She was active in her son’s lives, helping them with crafts, projects, adventures and Bible devotions. In 1968 Betty went into Real Estate becoming a successful agent and broker finding great pleasure in helping families find their perfect home. We will miss her. Her love for her family, her smile, her laugh, her quick wit and the twinkle in her eyes. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 15th at 11:00am, at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel and Gardens, located at 3481 Hamilton Mill Road, Buford, GA 30519. Visitation will also be held from 6-8pm on Monday, May 14th.
