Obituary of Dumitru Cristea

Dumitru Cristea, age 76 of Jefferson, GA, died Thursday, May 24, 2018 after an extended illness. Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Iulian Costea will officiate. Interment will follow at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. An evening service will be held Friday, May 25, 2018 from 5- 9 PM at the funeral home. Dumitru is survived by his wife, Maria Cristea, Jefferson; children, Alina Cristea (George), Jefferson, Daniel Cristea (Adina), Canada, Theodora Wagner (Flip), Germany, Andreea Oprea (Cristian), Jefferson, Mirela Cristea, Jefferson; grandchildren, Edith Tiriteu (Alex), David Cristea, Alexandru Cristea, Andrei Cristea, Eric Cristea, Grace Wagner, Joelle Wagner, Joshua Oprea, Megan Oprea; great grandchildren, Ezra Tiriteu, Carrissa Tiriteu; sisters, Emilia Cristea, Maria Cristea; brother, Vasile Cristea. Dumitru was born in Fanate Mures, Romania and had lived in the metro Atlanta area since 2007. He was a member of the Philadelphia Romanian Church, Lawrenceville.
