I am so stunned. Just tried to follow up emailing Lou and not hearing back after her birthday. We had met in 1969 and had great times over the years. She had a wonderful spirit and outlook and loved a good laugh. Will miss you always dear Lou. Condolences to your family. Fly high Jayhawk.

My deepest condolences for the loss of your dear loved one. While nothing will completely take away your grief, by meditating on Gods promises found in the Bible, you can find real hope and the strength to keep going. My family and I have found the scripture at Isaiah 25:8 to be especially comforting. Here it promises that God "will swallow up death forever and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces."

So very sorry and send sympathy to all her family. We taught school together for 4 years at Shallowfird Elementary school from 1969-1973.
We had a great time together teaching in classrooms next to each other!
Will continue to think of her often! She was and is an inspiration to us all!

Lucretia was such a really great individual. I was a special ed co-teacher with her way back at Lawrenceville Middle School in the early 90s and again at Creekland Middle School when it was createdl 21 years ago. She was my friend and co-worker and was always professional and truly loved teaching. I have only good memories of our time together. She will be missed.
