Obituary of Curtis Eugene Rumph

Curtis Eugene Rumph June 26, 1938—July 24, 2015 The measure of a man is not determined by his materialistic possessions, but by the life he lived and the people he loved along the way. After a long fight with cancer, Curtis Eugene Rumph passed away on the morning of July 24, 2015. Curtis lived his life fearlessly. Curt was a man who wasn't afraid to speak his mind and stand his ground. He spent his life doing what he loved to do the most constructing and fixing cars. Born on June 26, 1938 in Orangeburg, South Carolina, Curtis was a timid child. The only son of two loving parents, Eleazer and Thomas Rumph. After graduating high school, Curt served in the military. After leaving the military, he married his high school sweetheart Hannah L. Rumph. He is survived by his loving wife, Hannah; his children, Kenneth Rumph, Warren Rumph, Andre Rumph, Sheila Rumph, Shellie Rumph; and Curtis was blessed with 8 grandchildren, Eugene Lewis, Kenneth Ketcham, Joshua Rumph, Krystal Ketcham, Donta Brown, Dominique Brown, Cheree Rumph and Bruce Rumph. Curtis also had two great grandchildren, and a wonderful dog Scrappy.
