Obituary of Carol Dean Stowe

Carol Stowe, age 88 of Buford, GA, died Monday, October 29, 2018 after and extended illness. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 11 AM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Danny Newbern and Pastor Larry Sullivan will officiate. Interment will follow at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 9-11 AM at the funeral home. Carol was preceded in death by her grandson, Bailey O’Shields. She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Jennings and husband Steve, Suwanee, Stephanie O’Shields, Ft. Mill, SC; grandchildren, Jessica McMillan and husband Keith, SC, Chelsea Marelle and husband Tony, AR, Shelby Jennings, SC, Hunter O’Shields, Buford, Zachary Campbell and wife Kaela, SC, Zeth Campbell, SC; great grandchildren, Tucker and Callen McMillian, SC; sisters, Maxine Cash and husband Vernon, Buford, Polly Henderson, Gainesville, Betty Nash and husband Jerry, Watkinsville, Emily Hardeman and husband Ronnie, Hull; brother, Steve Berryman and wife Diane, Watkinsville; several nieces and nephews. Carol was born in Jefferson, GA and later moved to Tucker, where she lived for over 40 years. She served as a Sunday School Teacher and worker at Briarlake Baptist Church, Decatur. Carol resided the last 15 years in Buford and attended Zion Hill Baptist Church. She was a home maker, real estate agent and enjoyed bowling.
