Obituary of Simion Medrea

Simion Medrea, age 77 of Suwanee, GA, died Tuesday, November 27, 2018 following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 9, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Teofil Cocian will officiate. Interment will follow at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. An evening service will be held Friday, December 7, 2018 from 7-9 PM at the funeral home. Simion is survived by his wife of 56 years, Tabita; son, Daniel, his wife Ana and their 3 children: Daniel, Rachel, Jennifer; son, Gino, his wife Emma and their 3 children: Ashley, Emily, Sam; son, Marius, his wife Dina and their 6 children: Bethany, Jessica, Naomi, Grace, Elizabeth, Matthew; son, Emanuel, his wife Mihaela and their 2 children: Xavier, Vanessa; son, David, his wife Iulia and their 3 children: Abigail, Luca, Levi; daughter, Simona, her husband Peter and their 6 children: Isaac, Sebi, Ezra, Titus, Kayla, Julian; son, Timotei; daughter, Eunice; son Jeremia. Simion was born in Seleus, Romania and lived the last 22 years in the metro Atlanta area. He was a retired business owner and a member of the First Romanian Baptist Church.
