I am deeply saddened and My heart breaks in pieces for the family. Joey and my son Carter McDaniel met at the winter retreat 2018. Joey made an impact to all that knew him and a life changing one to my son. Such an impact he wanted to make public he decision to be baptized and it had to be with Joey. I can't imagine the pain you are suffering now to lose a child.
There is a wonderful hope given in the bible where God will remember our dead loved ones and will bring
them back to life on earth. Jo 5:28,29 Ps 37:11,29.
Imagine the day when there are no more tears of sorrow and death and pain are gone forever. Rev 21:3,4.

I met Joey last year during the Winter Retreat. We spoke briefly but at Beach Camp we became much closer. I considered Joey one of my closest friends, if i had an issue I knew I could speak to him. He was encouraging, kind, and one of the sweetest people I've ever met. I remember when we were in the ocean, he swam up behind me and launched me into the air. That night we talked about our problems in life and how Christ played a part of our lives. He craved to go deeper in his faith and take others to that same level. He will always be one of the most caring people I've ever known.
