Janet Carroll Poynter, age 67 of Buford, GA, died Tuesday, April 9, 2019 after an extended illness. Mrs. Poynter has been cremated and no service is planned at this time. Janet was preceded in death by her husband William Poynter. She is survived by her daughters, Estella Poynter and husband Spencer Owens, Hoschton, Erin Morris and husband Jeff, Flowery Branch; grandchildren, Molly Poynter, Jack Owens, Alex Morris, Chloe Morris; brother, Pat Carroll and wife Laurie, Kennesaw. Janet was born in Oxford, Mississippi and had lived in the metro Atlanta area since 1995. She retired as a beautician and worked at Walmart after her retirement.
