Lucretia We have been out of town, but it does not mean that you were out of my prayers. Love you and Joe so much. He always had a smile and joke. As I drove home today at 11:10am I just started singing "I woke up this morning, feeling fine Mighty fine" Over the last year it did not matter where I saw him or how he felt this is what he would tell me. Lucretia, I am so very sorry for your loss. Joe Pruett was a loss to the world. He was one of the strongest, most loving and compassionate men I have ever known. My special memories of his deep bass voice bring tears to my eyes. His voice, his spirit, his strength, his love made this world a better place, but it is good to know that he will no longer suffer. There will be no tears, no pain, for Joe in heaven. Keep your eyes toward heaven and feel Joe's love and strength in your heart. I love you, my friend.

Lucretia, This world has a lost a wonderful man but his legacy will live on. Joe was like a ray of sunshine every time he entered a room. He had a love for people that this world rarely sees. I couldn't look at him, when I was singing in the choir, without fear of, him making me, laugh out loud. I will never forget the care and compassion that you and Joe both, showed me during Drew's illness. I love you, both so very much.

Dear Lucretia and family, What a wonderful person our world has lost and heaven has gained! I think everybody just loved Joe and he just seemed to love people! We have so many good memories of Joe and his great sense of humor. He was President of our Sunday School Class for a year or so, until he was unable to continue. He loved to interview a person, and then "introduce" that mystery person to our class. He sure did a great job, and we learned many things about folks we thought we knew! No doubt he will be interviewing at the 'Big House" soon!!! We sure will miss your smile, Joe! Much love to all the family, Charlie and Nancy Yow
