Obituary of James White Simpson

James W. "Jimmy" Simpson, age 81 of Buford, GA died suddenly Saturday, July 4, 2015. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Wayne Johnson and Rev. Stephen Fountain will officiate. Interment will follow at Buford City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 7, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Flowers accepted or contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the First Baptist Church Buford, Renovation Fund. Jimmy is survived by his wife Marvine Simpson, Buford, GA. Children, Caroline Bird and husband, John, White Simpson and wife Denise, Laura Kell and husband, Lawrence all of Buford, GA. Grandchildren, Ashton Simpson, Conner Simpson, Preston Kell, Landon Kell. Jimmy was a native and lifelong resident of Buford, where he was the owner of Simpson Insurance Agency. He was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan and was past president of the Gwinnett County Bulldog Club. He was a member of the Buford Masonic Lodge #292 F&AM, the Yaarab Shrine Temple and First Baptist Church, Buford.
