Obituary of Cissy Mitchell

Matilda M. “Cissy” Mitchell, age 92 of Dacula, GA, died Monday, July 8, 2019. Funeral service will be held Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Danny Newbern will officiate. Interment will follow at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 11:30 AM- 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Cissy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Mitchell and daughter, Catherine Nasiatka. She is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline Murdock and husband Tom, Dacula; grandchildren, Lisa McCoy and husband Dan, Lawrenceville, Steven Jurney and wife Marcie, Cumming, Kristy Budnick and husband Tom, St. Clair Shores, MI, Jacquie Moreno and husband Tony, Berkley, MI; great grandchildren, Matthew McCoy, Ryan McCoy, Tommy Budnick, Katie Budnick, Mitch Jurney, Ruby Jurney. Cissy was born in Lilly, PA and had lived in the metro Atlanta area since 2005. She worked as a nurse at Grace Hospital.
