Obituary of John Grady Chamblee

John G. Chamblee, age 85 of Buford, GA died Tuesday, June 9, 2015. Funeral service will be held Friday, June 12, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Christian Church. Rev. Bob Mahon and Rev. Randy Adkisson will officiate. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Roswell, GA. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home. The family request in lieu of flowers contributions be made to Hamilton Mill Christian Church, Building Fund, 3809 Sardis Church Road, Buford, GA 30519. John is survived by his wife, Reba Chamblee, Buford. Daughters, Rhonda Smith and husband, Mike, Cumming, GA, Jeana Johnson and husband, Dan, Dallas, TX, Myra Stamps and husband, Brent, Atlanta, GA. 7 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. Sister, Florence Brock, Johns Creek, GA. Sister In-law, Mildred Chamblee, Canton, GA. Several Nieces and Nephews. John was born in Alpharetta, GA and was a lifelong resident of the area.
