Obituary of Walter Arrington

Walter A. Arrington, age 91 of Winder, GA, died Thursday, September 26, 2019. Mr. Arrington will be cremated following a time of visitation on Monday, September 30, 2019 from 2-4 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Walter. Walter was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Arrington and granddaughter, Shanna Arrington. He is survived by his sons, Allen Arrington and wife Maureen, Winder, GA, David Arrington, NJ; grandchildren, Brian Arrington and wife Stephanie, Jason Arrington and wife Marissa, David Arrington, Jr.; great grandchildren, Owen Mabry, Madison Mabry, Mackenzie Arrington, Sabastian Arrington; sister, Shirley Butler, Guyton, GA. Walter was born in Brooklet, GA and had lived the last 15 years in the metro Atlanta area. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy. Walter retired from Deptford Auto Parts and was a member of St. Mary and St. Martha of Bethany Episcopal Church.
