Bruce was fantastic friend in high school on any given day we might walk around Ballston, throw the football around and sometimes he'd give the soccer ball a try :). We also used to lift weights in my parents house occasionally. What I remember most are going out on weekend nights and especially in the summer time...driving around, talking about sports, music and girls...maybe not in that order. Good nights with Houston, Charlie, Nancy, Barbie too. He seemed to always wear his shirt tucked in and he had a Levi's winter coat with the fur on the collar...good kid and no doubt a good man! RIP my friend.

Heartbreaking to lose a good man and friend. I met Bruce in school, we had several classes together throughout HS and were good friends - he always made me laugh and was very smart.
My deepest condolences to Rose, the boys and the rest of the family. May he rest in Peace.

I had the pleasure of being a neighbor of Bruce, Rose and the boys for 17 years. Garrett was actually Laurel's first crush in middle school. This family is so giving and wonderful. They even brought Garrett to the hospital to visit my daughter Laurel when she was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at age 13. I had the pleasure of introducing Bruce to my current husband Ben before moving out of the neighborhood. We talked in Kroger for quite a while about the older kids going to college and Garrett's hopes of getting into Georgia Tech. I'm so happy Bruce was able to see that happen. To this wonderful family, we are praying for you and our hearts are heavy for your loss. Bruce was a wonderful man.

Heartbreaking -- I had the pleasure of knowing Bruce professionally. He was always kind and patient with my questions. He indulged me, as a non-engineer, with sincerity. I can only begin to imagine the vacuum that will be created. Sending love and good energy to the whole Lacina family.

We met Bruce and Rose in the early years of Garrett playing soccer with Aidan. Bruce will always be remembered for trying to boost the boys’ energy at one tournament between games by giving them Red Bull. We did not know the Lacina’s that well, boys were about 10 in 2010. Well needless to say the boys crashed and burned in the game after they had the Red Bull. Bruce has such great intentions to get them energy and really funny to see how they all reacted to it, many of the 10 year olds never having it before. Any time we see Red Bull we will always think of Bruce with a chuckle and smile as this memory involves two of his favorites. His boys and soccer. All our love and prayers for the Lacina Family.
Helen, Andy, Aidan and Sydney Weathers.

Stolen from us without reason. So sad. I will always remember Bruce as a quiet, thoughtful, intelligent, kind man. Sorry for your loss.

Thank you for always being a beacon of hope. I thank God he allowed our paths to cross since 2013. Thank you Bruce for always setting up my umbrella, cheering our boys on, talking Army talk with me, and most importantly for continously restoring my faith in mankind. Bruce, continue to look down and be our cheerleader from above. Rose, Garrett, Shane, and Dylan know that we are Always here for you, and love you so very much!! Praying God's blessing and strength for you.
