Heather, I’m so sorry to learn of Damien’s passing. He was such a kind soul and I enjoyed every chance that I had to speak with him. I’ll be praying for you and the children. May God bring you peace and comfort during the coming days.

Damien and Heather have always been great friends. We have done choir tours and Bible studies together. And Damien and Marcy McGraw and I served as interpreters on a 21 day mission trip in Panama with many other great friends from the Wesley Foundation in Auburn. . We will never forget that experience and all of the experiences we had at Wesley for those years. So many of us from those early 90s went to seminary and have served in many ministry positions. It did not surprise me a bit that Damien and Heather both did that too. Damien is a gentle, loving servant of God. I am sure he is a great husband and dad. He made all of the right moves and decisions in his life including marrying Heather. I fully believed that was designed by God. It was a call that they both answered along with the call to serve Him in the ways they have. We will all miss Damien, but his legacy lives on in his family. I pray the Lord continues to bless them.

Mr. Turpin was my daughters Spanish teacher in middle school. He was compassionate and kind. My daughter will always have fond memories of Señor Turpin for always believing in her when class became difficult. I appreciated his honesty, devotion, and willingness to go the extra mile for his students. He was a good man, and we are praying for his family during this difficult time. Thank you Señor Turpin and may you Rest In Peace.
