Obituary of Glenn Francis Grady

Glenn F. Grady, age 67 of Suwanee, GA died Saturday, April 11, 2015 after a battle with cancer. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 14, 2015 from 11 AM - 1:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hart County Animal Shelter, c/o Donna Robinson, PO Box 45, Hartwell, GA 30643. Glenn was preceded in death by his wife Julia Ann Grady. Parents, William and Evelyn Grady. Brothers, Lawrence Grady and Daniel Grady. He is survived by his sons, Sean Grady and Fiancé Amie, Alpharetta, GA. Scott Grady and Fiancé Sarah, Suwanee, GA. Granddaughters, Anna Grady, Sara Grady and Tessa Grady. Companion of 9 years Ann Cooper, Hartwell, GA and her children, Matt and Madeline Cooper, Athens GA and David Cooper, Charlotte, NC. Sisters, Beverly Gauvreau, Veronica Alonso and Patricia Seaton. Glenn was born in Washington, DC and served for the United States Army in Vietnam. He retired as Executive Vice-President of Credit at Woodward and Lothrop Department Store in Washington, DC. He lived in Suwanee and Hartwell GA for the last 25 years of his life.
