Words for the Johnson Family following Ozzie's passing.
Dear Johnson Family,
I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to spend time with Mr. Ossie. Over the past few years, Mr. Ossie had wonderfully demonstrated how to love your family, how to love your wife, and how to love your friends. These are lessons I will carry with me as I move forward in life.
I recently read "God created us to grow, expand and flourish into greatness. But sometimes, this isn't always the easiest or most exciting thing, especially when we face hardships, disappointments and loss." I connect these words to the opportunity God provided by allowing all Ossie's friends, family, and the people he has touched to learn how to love by the way he lived his life.
Although this is a challenging time given Ossie's loss, God has provided us all with an opportunity to live out Ossie's legacy through loving our spouse, family and friends in the way he has demonstrated.
My thought and prayers are with you.

We are truly missing your presence and consistent warm welcome into your home. We hold you close in our hearts. The memories of coming to visit us in country will never be forgotten. Hearing the sound of your car pulling up in front of Muma and Aunt Lue house was a welcoming one. Especially because your visits full of love. And paper bags. A mi fi tell you! 40 years ago, those brown bags full of groceries were a welcoming sight. The bags had no names on them-but they were shared among all. On behalf of my family and I, we pray that the many happy memories of Uncle Ozzie's life will live on. I particularly remember some happy times from Lake St. to Stacia St. and now Stillbrook Ct. I remember 20 plus years ago, we got tickets for all four of us, you Auntie Hortense, Dionne and I to see the Temptations, perform in NJ. We were young but felt the love fever from both of you. And boy did we enjoy that show. Oh by the way! 27 years ago your intervention to support our relationship was commendable and unforgettable.. What's Up Winny? Extending your hand to shake my hand and giving your Niece Dionne and our daughter Symantha hug the day before your passing-will never be disconnected. This was always your greeting for over thirty plus years that I have known you. So let me close out by saying. I remember to this day the first time I met you.Gary and i went to his house and he introduced me you shook my hand,then ask Gary where we were off to,Gary in return said Englewood he then said " unno be careful",because I am a good judge of character I said to myself I really like this man spirit instantantly I could tell their was some thing special about him, so to make a long story short, I found a second father af friend and a teacher. He would always tell some life teaching story to Gary and i ,he also gave me my first job .
Although no words of sympathy can ease the lost you all bear still may you find some comfort knowing others truly love him, how lucky you all were to have shared his teaching, wisdom and love he had . He had accomplish what every human bean dream of ,a beautiful home ,a beautiful and accumplish wife for 46 years he help to rase three successful men he has friends and well wishers were ever he goes and he is also a child of god. So father ozzie you have done your job.

Dear Hortens and family, my prayers are with you that the good Lord will give you the strength that you will need to send your love one home to be with the Lord.

Richie and I use to play dominoes against Uncle Ossie and Daddy Roy. We use to give them 6 love all the time. When them give we 6 love, he would say, "Dem little bouy yah can't gi wi 6 love cause we a don." Then he would hit his elbows on the table and slamm down the winning dominoes.
