Obituary of Percy Daniel Nix

Percy Daniel Nix, age 86 of Buford, GA died Saturday, January 10, 2015 after an extended illness. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 7:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Mike Day will officiate. The Family will receive Friends on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 from 4 - 7 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015 at the Springfield National Cemetery in Springfield, MO with Military Honors. Mr. Nix was preceded in death by his Wife, Pat Nix. He is survived by his Daughter and Son In-law, Becky and Paul Sanner, Buford. Granddaughters, Jessica Sanner Mundy and husband, Joshua, Cumming, GA, Amy Sanner Merritt and Husband, Mark, Sugar Hill, GA. Great Grandchildren, Carson Elizabeth Merritt and Stella Rose Mundy. Several Nieces and Nephews. Mr. Nix was a native of Princeton, AR and had lived in Buford the past 7 years. He was a retired accountant with Panhandle Eastern Pipe Line Company in Houston, TX, a Veteran of the US Army where he served during the Korean Conflict and a member of Celebration Church.
