Obituary of Opal Hammons Slusher

Opal Hammons Slusher, age 86 of Winder, GA died Saturday, December 27, 2014 after an extended illness. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Dr. Frank Cox will officiate. Interment will follow at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The Family will receive Friends Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Slusher is survived by her Children, Charles Mills and Wife, Pauline, Flowery Branch, Rhonda Gillespie and Husband Bill, Commerce, Donna Lee and Husband, Pete, Winder, Gloria Kolleda and Husband, Bruce, Lawrenceville, Jeff Slusher and Wife, Lisa, Lawrenceville. Grandchildren, Tim Mills, Roger Mills, Jonathon Mills, Kimberly Roberts, Angie McCurry, Eric Lee, Amber Adams, Kyle Kolleda, Natalie Tarpein, Alan Kolleda, Joe Slusher, Charles Slusher, Jake Slusher and John Slusher. 20 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren. Sisters, Irma Hubbs, Port Orange, FL and Neva Kaplan and Husband Milt, Barbourville, KY. Opal was born in Stinking Creek, KY and had lived in the Atlanta area the past 45 years.
