Obituary of Ronnie Thomas Phillips

Ronnie T. "Rooster" Phillips, age, 68 of Buford, GA died Monday, October 13, 2014 after an extended illness. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 11 AM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Joey Grizzle and Rev. Charles Pirkle will officiate. Interment will follow at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The Family will receive Friends Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 5 - 9 PM at the funeral home. Ronnie was preceded in death by his Parents, Clyde T. and Annie Mae Phillips and Brother, Don Phillips. He is survived by his Wife of 49 years, Deborah Rolin Phillips, Buford. Daughter, Jodi Pendley and Husband Brett, Buford. Grandchildren, Erin Pendley and Jay Pendley. Brothers, Bob Phillips and Wife Billie, Flowery Branch and Wayne Phillips and Wife Theresa, Flowery Branch. Sisters In-law, Bobbie Phillips, Gainesville and Sandra Everett, Sugar Hill. Brother In-law, Stanley Rolin and Wife Linda, Sugar Hill. Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Ronnie was born in Flowery Branch, GA and lived his entire life in the Buford/Flowery Branch area and was a 1964 graduate of Buford High School. Ronnie owned and operated Car Repair & Emissions, Inc. in Buford and was well known for his mechanical ability. He loved spending time with his Grandchildren, especially the trips to Disney World.
