I remember Betty from when she worked at the Buford Senior Center on Sawnee Avenue. She was a true friend to all the seniors who attended the center. She was funny and smart and I'm sure she will be missed by her family and friends. Rest in peace Betty. Love, Gladys Allen Strickland

I was raised by Betty's parents. She taught me to read before I started school while she was still living at home. The years went by but we never grew apart. oNE OF My favorite memories of Betty (and there are many) was when she would sashay into the house from work and start dancing and singing Tennessee Earney Fords song Sixteen Tons. She addicted me to strawberry shortcake and it is still my favorite. RIP my dear Aunt Betty - I will remember and love you FOREVER!
