Obituary of Sheridan Davenport

Sheridan Davenport, 35, of Jefferson, GA, died Thursday, September 10, 2020. Funeral service will be held Sunday, September 20, 2020 at 1 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Danny Newbern will officiate. Interment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Duluth. The family will receive friends Sunday, September 20, 2020 from 11 AM – 1 PM at the funeral home.

Sheridan was preceded in death by her father, Glenn Davenport; grandparents, James and Grace Groover, Sue Davenport and Claud Davenport; aunts, Mildred Cook, Margie Alexander; uncle, Tommy Jackson. She is survived by her mother, Debbie Davenport, Jefferson; her favorite uncle, David Ayers (Carolyn); half siblings, Byron Davenport and Angie Davenport; step son, Chandler Almond; aunts and uncles, Melba Jackson, Mazie Gray (Bruce), Martha Brackett (John), Gary Davenport; cousins and other extended family.

With her strong faith in God, Sheridan fought several battles with having Lupus. She was a true Lupus warrior. Sheridan was a graduate of North Gwinnett High School and attended Gainesville Junior College. She was employed at Haverty’s EDC in Braselton since 2006 where she was part of the management team; her coworkers were a second family to her. Sheridan was a person with great integrity and loved everyone.
