Obituary of Sergio Villarma, Jr.

Sergio Villarma, Jr., 70, of Buford, GA, died Tuesday, January 26, 2021. Sergio was preceded in death by his mother, Mercia Villarma, father, Sergio Villarma Sr., and brother, Enrique Villarma. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Vicki Villarma, Buford; children, Candice Villarma, Buford, Aaron Villarma, Chamblee; grandson, Adrian Villarma, Buford; siblings, Alfonso Villarma, Oklahoma, Lilly Downs, Maryland, Victor Villarma, Philippines. Sergio was born in Manila, Philippines but lived most of his life in Texas and Georgia. He was a construction project manager for Bovis Lend Lease where he helped construct many well-known buildings and structures in and around the state of Georgia, such as Phipps Plaza, a new runway at Hartsfield Jackson, and the Tennessee Titan's football stadium. He cared deeply for his family and friends and was always the life of the party. Sergio always had a joke or story for every occasion and loved to cook for his family and friends. He loved fishing and riding his motorcycle around Lake Lanier. Sergio will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 2 PM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Flowery Branch. Fr. Eric Hill will officiate. Interment will follow at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday, February 5, 2021 from 6 – 8 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel.
