Sonya, Brandon and Erin, I learned today of Jake's passing a few weeks ago and am heartbroken. Truly one of the greatest guys I ever had the pleasure to know. Will always remember our times huddled behind the home plate backstop in Ft. Myers or wherever else the game took us. Truly one of good guys and he will be missed. Thinking of Jake today. Tim and I loved getting to know Jake through baseball. He would send us pictures of Brandon and keep us updated about how Brandon was doing. We kept saying that after COVID we would meet up at one of Brandon's baseball games. When we do get to a game, Jake, we will be toasting you! You made us feel appreciated. So sorry to hear about Jake, I will never forget his kindness he showed to my sweet son Adam Edge that passed away on March 25, 2020. He was Adam mentor throughout his cancer journey. He was always a kind man, I know he is cancer free in heaven with Adam . Prayers for the family. RIP until we meet again my friend.

Our hearts hurt for your loss. My son, Will, and Brandon have become close friends in recent years & our family loves Brandon. I knew Jake to say hello & he was always so friendly & upbeat.
