Ethleen Duncan Harris, age 85 of Jefferson, GA and formerly of Buford died Saturday, May 10, 2014 following an extended illness. Funeral Service will be held Monday, May 12, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Mr. Marshall Gunn will officiate. Interment will follow at Sardis United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Family will receive Friends Monday, May 12, 2014 form 11:30 AM until time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the Family request contributions be made to Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center, 743 Spring Street NE Gainesville, GA 30501. Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her Husband of 65 years, Bonnie M. Harris. She is survived by her Children, Kathy Gunn and Husband, Marshall, Jacksonville, FL, Shelley Prather and Husband, Jerry, Lilburn, Lamar Harris and Wife, Cathy, Jefferson. Grandchildren, Michelle Moore and Julie Fuller and Husband Justin. 4 Great Grandchildren. Mrs. Harris was born in Buford, GA and was a lifelong resident of the area. She worked as a homemaker and a bus driver for the Hi-Hope Center in Lawrenceville. She was a member of the Auburn Seventh-day Adventist Church.
